                                         Youth Theatre Project Mission

The Youth Theatre Project provides quality theatre/dance education and performance opportunities at a low cost to its participants with scholarships and work study opportunities available.  We strive to cultivate creativity in a supportive and nurturing environment and allow all students the opportunity to explore the performing arts regardless of their individual financial circumstances.  We endeavor to create an avenue for students to develop their theatrical talents in an attempt to instill in them an appreciation and love for the arts and arts education.

The YTP offers students an array of theatre and dance performance opportunities and allows them an opportunity to:

·         Learn acting and dance technique from degreed professionals and experienced performers/directors

·         Perform onstage in  theatrical and dance productions throughout the year

·         Experience the process of auditioning for a show

·         Learn dance and singing techniques that support musical productions

·         Learn and work on the technical aspects of theatre productions

                                                   Sponsors and Donors

You can support the Youth Theater Project in two ways: as an audience member and as a financial contributor (monetary or in-kind) – 100% of your donation goes directly to supporting our productions and educational endeavors.  There are several levels of sponsorship and every gift, no matter how small, will make a difference in the lives of the youth of our community:

·         Encore ($2000+) - supports at least 20 students

·         Marquee ($1000+) - supports at least 10 students

·         Spotlight ($500+) - supports at least 5 students

·         Standing Ovation ($250+) - supports at least 2 students

·         Applause ($100+) - supports at least 1 student
